This place was amazing! Everything I was promised by staff was exactly like it was promised. The staff was excellent. The facilities were state of the art. I would not recommend any other detox, amethyst was not my first recovery center but It was by far the best from start to finish I felt like I was part of there family and I can't tell you just how important I think that is.
This was the worse place I have ever been to. Making people pay up front for treatment. And then choosing a family friend for detox over everyone else was very very sad . We call had to listen to a young girl screaming for hours that she wanted to die. Finally after 5 hours they took the girl to the hospital. The next day she got up for her meds and fell on the floor. Because the owner was there Ems showed up in 15 minutes. D
The staff are amazing and made my time there pretty special! I had to spend my birthday there and they made me a cake and everything!
I went through Amethyst in early Sept 2020. Overall the faclility was nice and the food was 5 star, no joke. The rooms/beds were comfortable and had plenty of accomodations such as Netflix and gaming. Aside from a few older folks with long term sobriety, the overall makup of the staff was that of young, uncaring, arrogant and serioulsy lazy staff. It was a wonderful experience visiting Amethyst Recovery. The community as well as staff members treat you like family. That’s what this is about. They are great at making you feel at home, making you feel comfortable, and never let you feel alone. All around great experience. Amazing people, who are there for you even after you leave. I would highly recommend this facility.
