Ames Shovel Works Apartments are charming and historical with lovely landscaping. My husband and I worked with Alison, who was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Because of the availability and our timing, we ended up with a place elsewhere. However, based upon our experience; if the opportunity arose and the timing was right, we would come back to Ames to look for a place in a heartbeat.

I lived at Ames Shovel Works for 7 years. The staff is always extremely helpful and accessible. The grounds are always well maintained and crews worked tirelessly during the blizzard this past year to keep the parking lot clear. As most folks on here have noted, a special shout out goes to Fran, the head of maintenence. He is incredibly friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable.

I lived here for almost 2 years and absolutely loved it! The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to downtown Easton and Borderland State Park is unbeatable! Maintenance and the leasing office were always quick to respond to my questions. I will miss living at Ames!
