Had a question re use on basement block waterproof prep, answered VERY promptly by Ames Research..good job! Thanks Tracey! 2-21-25 Update: Job completed, went on super fast. Lots of heavy rain, no leaks..it works! (Happy about that!). Great product in my opinion. 6-25-26 Update. Using another Ames product for a completely different job, called cust svc, "Gene" did a great job and saved me a lot of time. Top Notch...Again!
Ordering and delivery easy. The product is thick but spreads easily and adheres really well. I prepped a lot but there were interfaces of old paint and bare wood that the product locked down great. Filled in cracks. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is the limited color options. I needed a very dark brown. I ordered dark brown and the color matched the color palette, but not nearly as dark as I needed. All the browns use a white base. Wish they had options with a deep base
We used different Ames Research Laboratories products for waterproofing and never got call back with compliances. Works pretty well.
Used Maxium Stretch, worked like a charm, used a roller and applied it to a metal roof.
