I was recently in AmeriTitle to have some documents signed and notarized. The woman who helped me was very kind and professional. She had everything organized and ready to go before I even got there. Great service!
AmeriTitle charged an additional fee to our client for an endorsement that should have been no charge. I've worked for and dealt with title companies for over 35 years and this is a first. I'm very unhappy with the response I received when I questioned it.
I work at a mortgage company and this was one of the most unhelpful title companies I have ever worked with. Melonee, the escrow assistant was who I was working with most, she refused to respond unless emailed 3 times in a row or called their office and she basically told me that she had given up on our loan portal service and just wasn't going to try to upload the documents even though I sent user guides and support contacts her way multiple times. I hope I never have to work with this title company ever again. :(
