Great company, very focused on helping members and local communities. I know most of the time folks will leave a review for poor experience so wanted to provide my perspective. I’ve had my own issues with the company, but compared to other healthcare companies that I have experience with, this one has been the best. They are trying to exhaust parents of resources for special needs children, and force parents to institutionalized their children. I recently interviewed with Shavonda Reid, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Although I arrived on time, Ms. Reid did not have her camera on and stated she needed to log off and back in when I mentioned I couldn’t see her. Had a poor experience with claims rep Michael Claudius. I found him to be creepy and unprofessional.
This is the worst insurance company we have ever had. My husband is bed ridden, he can not stand or walk due to atrophy from being in a ventilator from heart issues and was prescribed a lift when he left hospital and the insurance denied it saying it wasn't medically necessary. If he doesn't get approved I'd love to know who does, someone with there legs cut off? I don't know how these people working for the company can sleep at night.
