Ended up with a tank leak after multiple visits of them fixing problems they created with their new monitors and things that were supposed to help track this exact problem. Got locked out of my tank. No propane when my entire house runs on propane. I also run my business out of my house. Was told I’d be getting a new tank on Monday to find out that nothing was put in for that to happen. We own our tank yet after more than two years of service AmeriGas started charging us for it. Pretty poor record keeping and difficult to find a representative who can actually assist with needs.

This is the worst company I’ve ever been forced to deal with. My house runs on propane and the previous owners rented the tank from them. I haven’t lived here long enough to consider going with someone else. They charge random fees, admit to charging various amounts to customers in the same area as “common practice”, and outright lie about what’s going on with your account. They will tell you how much propane to order based on your tank level, I ordered over the amount to make sure I was covered, somehow my tank still isn’t ... read more

Absolutely terrible customer support. Terrible on getting service for broken LEASED EQUIPMENT. RAN OUT OF GAS DUE TO BROKEN GAUGE AND WANTS TO CHARGE 700 to fill it back up? Called multiple times for service on this same issue and nobody came out until completely empty to service - then didn’t bring any fuel. Ridiculous! Go somewhere else for propane these guys are scam artists
