Have been a customer with ameragas for 15 years. The service has always been bad but now it is clear the the company has no regard for customer service. My tank has been taken out of service for 10 days now and the company still can’t tell me when I will get my service back. I’ve had no hot water and stove operation for 10 days. Ameragas simply don’t care.
It took 2 1/2 weeks to receive service. Which is way too long in my book for a good customer service. The gentleman was nice when he showed up and gave me the gas, but they either need to hire more people or get more trucks that is unreasonable at time to have to wait.
AmeriGas has an unacceptable way of doing business. Their system notifies customers when the tank level drops below 25%, yet deliveries are delayed for so long that customers are effectively forced into paying an “emergency fee.” This creates a business model that appears to rely on delays to justify extra charges, rather than on timely service. Terrible experience calling in to customer service, I went straight to a call center and spent an hour on phone with zero results. Was charged for service call when I needed an assessment for new service .
