Our tank was at 20% before a storm but they would not come within their scheduled delivery time (before the storm) unless we paid $300 extra. They schedule deliveries but then don’t come for several weeks after the date they say.
Really terrible... obviously no care for their customers in the slightest. We've been without heat for four days and each day have been lied to about when to expect our "autofill" delivery. I have two little kids and this is unacceptable.
I never take the time to write negative reviews, so this will be my first. I implore you to not use Amerigas. Their customer service is the absolute worst. I have been put on hold and given the runaround for the past 2 weeks as I attempt to buy out my tank. I am not allowed to talk to a supervisor, am put on hold for hours, and I am unable to talk to anyone in my local facitlity. This has easily been the worst service experience of my life. If I could give zero I would. Propane was scheduled to be delivered 1/28-2/2.We get an email today that it would not be delivered as scheduled, with no update. Other companies are delivering in our neighborhood. Amerigas is giving us no choice but to switch carriers. It will be costly, but at least other companies won't let us freeze. Amerigas doesn't seem to care. You can't talk to anyone local. Their customer service is out of the country and can't tell you squat!
