Amerigas made a partial delivery but charged us for a full delivery (a significant amount $$$). Their third-party customer service was truly awful to deal with and offered no help or solution. They have carelessly taken advantage of me as a customer and I would not recommend them to anyone.
They continuously let my 73 year old parents run out of fuel leaving then without heat. They locked out their tank. They break refuel promises all the time. We will be getting another company and tank as soon as possible. This company is a joke and inhumane.
The drivers are awesome! But Customer Service doesn’t even deserve a star. Bring back the local field offices manned by local representatives who speak English that can be understood and can understand what it is they are being asked to do. Also we used to be able to call and get a delivery from the local field office with 3 days. Since CS was outsourced to the Philippines, it can take 7 -14 days from the initial call to get propane. Joke of a company, fees and surcharges, fees and surcharges. Price gouging!! Find a local provider with people that speak English. Bought a house in 2014, amerigas and their leased tank came with. I had multiple instances where deliveries couldn't be fullfilled due to issues with THEIR leased tank. One instance was the amount of dirt/grass that was around the base, the second instance was the tank was located too close to a motion light on my soffit.
