Amerigas is a terrible company to deal with. You cannot speak to anyone local if you have an issue, all customer service calls are dispatched to India so they can barely understand your questions. NEVER rent a tank from them because then you have to buy their gas at whatever price they want to charge you. You can't use anyone else to supply your gas so you are screwed. Company states they filled tank to 40% today… this is the second time they have lied about how much they filled… I called it in at 25% (“luis” confirmed via his records I called in at 25%)…. Then Luis said his tech said it was at 30% and he filled it up to 40%… so tell me why it’s now only at 30%…. Here’s the reality…They only filled 5%…. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We have been waiting nearly TWO WEEKS without any sort of response from the company. Was told it would be delivered between 01/16 and 01/20. Their customer support is awful - continue to guarantee that they will deliver the propane but NOPE! Still not here!
I've been a customer for 10 years. I used to be able to call the Burgin office directly and speak with the nice ladies there. Now all local numbers are funneled to the 1-800 line where no one speaks great English so communication is very difficult. Our order was placed on 12/28/24. Still no propane. I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold this morning only to get no resolutions.
They do NOT comprehend simple English and instead of answering a yes or no question, they repeat their own irrelevant questions. Very poor customer service and Noone at office even though it shows normal business hrs and open.
