Billing is always screwed up. I have to call about it all the time! It’s annoying. Then no one is American so you can’t understand them. A 4 month payment plan is ridiculous. I have way more to complain about but this area isn’t big enough! Y’all suck, constantly forgetting auto fill customers and making it impossible to switch companies with out giving yer first born.
Amerigas has the worst customer service of any company I've ever worked with. They charge you for everything. They charge you to fix THEIR tank, and if you don't get it done on their timeline, they charge you rent. I had a broken tank, lost 15-25% of my gas, and got harassed for it, got billed for rental for the tank they didn't fix, then when I told them to quit, they billed me around $500 for the inconvenience of them having to pick up their own tank. Considering "America" is in their name, you will never speak to anyone in the US. They owed me hundreds of dollars in propane when they picked up my tank and I never received my refund, even after calling multiple times. They kept promising it was on its way which was a straight out lie. I cant fight a big company in court and they know over time you will stop calling because your hands are tied. They tack on outrageous fees. And make you agree to a contract before you can access your account information online. My only hope... read more
Deliveries were always on time, and when promised. However....... My issues are with the price of their propane!! I was being charged between $4.19 and $4.29 a gallon for the last several years with them. The company i switched to is $1.29. Seems like price gouging to me. When you inquired about the cost, you just got a bunch of BS!! Then you couldn't talk to anyone at your local Amerigas, all calls would be forwarded to some call center overseas!!
