Amerigas has pricing and other financial policies that are way over market rates. Very hard to do business here.
I called in order to check on recertification of a 30# tank as advertised on there website. I was promptly told that THEY DO NOT RECTIFY TANKS!!
At this point I am very dissatisfied with the company. I had AmeriGas for many years but it was never that bad. I have no issue with delivery because they are timely and drivers are respectful. What it’s not expectable is customer service . At one point I call 6 times and they still were unable to resolve issue. The other issue are the prices that they are at least 30 % higher that other company, I would not recommend this company to any of my friends.
If I could give Ameritheft negative stars I would. They are a complete waste of time and money. They over charge for the propane delivered by an extensive amount, and they include a fee for everything they can imagine. They're final bill sent to me was over $500, $200 of it is attempting to trick me into paying to rent the tank for another year.
