I cannot recommend this company under any circumstances. I had an appointment scheduled for over a week, with a designated window between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. However, the technician arrived two hours early without prior notice. Upon returning home from work, I discovered that the technician had arrived outside of the agreed-upon timeframe. We requested a propane fill up and it was done timely. And this was not the first time. Very satisfied and happy AmeriGas and their service!
has to be the worst company when it comes to service, no local contacts, all the phone lines connect to people out of the country.
12/01 UPDATE: emailed their customer service team twice to no response, they did remove the fee from my bill but didn’t even send me an updated invoice or notice it was removed. Do not use this company. Amerigas is truly the worst. The only helpful and useful people are the ones delivering the gas and they have no control over anything to actually help you. I was trying to find a new propane company so I called AmeriGas when shopping. A woman told me there would be a $99 fee for the assessment. I agreed and a tech came out. While the tech was here, he said there would be an additional fee for a survey. He then said he talked to his supervisor and turns out he does not need to do a survey. He gave me a quote to get started and I decided to continue shopping. I then get a bill from AmeriGas for $200 including the $99 for the survey.
