As auto delivery customer I waited until I had 10% before calling Amerigas. Called call center 10 days in a row as gas got low. Call center seems to have no authority. Placed me on urgent list each time i called. Each time i was assured that gas was coming. On day ten I ran out of gas. Called multiple times next 3 days. After 3 days without heat, propane was delivered. Driver and very sorry about company allowing me to run out. Senior couple in poor health went 3 days without heat.

Amerigas has been nothing but problems. When I first picked up service with them, they double invoiced me. Had to call 3 times to get it taken off. I've been on automatic delivery and despite closely monitoring and updating my tank % on thier website, I often run out of propane. Delivery dates come and go with no sign of a driver. There was a stretch where the driver would pull into the driveway, hear my dog barking in the fenced yard, and then drive away claiming there was an animal preventing delivery. I was told that someone over 18 had to be here for the first delivery and that they would call the day before. Not only did I not get a call, driver Ben sat in my driveway and watched my teenage daughter walk inside and then came and knocked on the door repeatedly to the point that she called me. Driver Ben filled the tanks but disconnected them and put locks on them because no one was here BUT HE DIDNT CALL. NO ONE DID. Once again, I received an incorrect paper bill/past due notice in the mail. I am a pre-buy customer and currently have a credit of over $900 on the account. In attempts to clarify, what’s going on I reached out to AmeriGas customer service by phone and have never had such an unprofessional experience. The representative was in an extremely loud environment, was singing while he was searching things, asking me if I knew his assistant, talking about how his self-confidence is super low, & rambling on about his day.
