Amerigas had failed multiple deliveries, for no other reason than they simply did not want to get out of the truck. I sat in my living room on a work call while I watched the driver pull into my driveway, sit there for 2 minutes, and then leave. This happened MULTIPLE times when we had less than 10% propane in the middle of winter. No, there was no gate, no it was not blocked, they simply did not deliver. As auto delivery customer I waited until I had 10% before calling Amerigas. Called call center 10 days in a row as gas got low. Call center seems to have no authority. Placed me on urgent list each time i called. Each time i was assured that gas was coming. On day ten I ran out of gas. Called multiple times next 3 days. After 3 days without heat, propane was delivered. Driver and very sorry about company allowing me to run out. Senior couple in poor health went 3 days without heat.

Amerigas has been nothing but problems. When I first picked up service with them, they double invoiced me. Had to call 3 times to get it taken off. I've been on automatic delivery and despite closely monitoring and updating my tank % on thier website, I often run out of propane. Delivery dates come and go with no sign of a driver. There was a stretch where the driver would pull into the driveway, hear my dog barking in the fenced yard, and then drive away claiming there was an animal preventing delivery.
