This may not be entirely an Amerigas Hagerstown issue, but I can never get ahold of anyone locally, it's always a call center. I have been an Amerigas customer for well over 15 years and this company use to be so good (5 stars). In December of last year, we thought we could smell gas inside our house so we called for them to come out. Once they arrived they checked the tanks. Amerigas had failed multiple deliveries, for no other reason than they simply did not want to get out of the truck. I sat in my living room on a work call while I watched the driver pull into my driveway, sit there for 2 minutes, and then leave. This happened MULTIPLE times when we had less than 10% propane in the middle of winter. No, there was no gate, no it was not blocked, they simply did not deliver. Their service and support is worry free, online and delivery. Respectful to property
Horrible customer service if you can understand
As auto delivery customer I waited until I had 10% before calling Amerigas. Called call center 10 days in a row as gas got low. Call center seems to have no authority. Placed me on urgent list each time i called. Each time i was assured that gas was coming. On day ten I ran out of gas. Called multiple times next 3 days. After 3 days without heat, propane was delivered. Driver and very sorry about company allowing me to run out. Senior couple in poor health went 3 days without heat.
