Amerigas is a RIPOFF! They charge twice as much for propane as other companies. They are not willing to price match. I have changed companies. Then they charged over $400 to pick up their tank which sat in my yard for over a month.

Amerigas is by far the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. If I could give negative stars, I would. But one star is the lowest I can give. You have Horrible customer service, horrible communication and zero common sense. For years you over charged me and after constantly requesting your attention in the matter, you ignored me. Then when I finally left your company for another you left your tanks for a week or longer on my property. And not only continued to over charge me but charge me to retrieve your tanks. Amerigas is absolute garbage. They refused to deliver propane back before we had that prolonged severe far-below-zero winter 4 years ago. I called MFA, switched companies, and MFA filled my tanks weeks before my neighbors got gas from Amerigas (even though they had paid the "emergency delivery" fee). Amerigas left their tanks on my property, refused to pick up for 4 years, even though I called repeatedly and then told them I was charging storage fees for storing their tanks. Don't bother with them. They lie, trespass without letting you know they will be showing up on your property. Rude workers too. Will never bother working with them. The men wouldn't even say what business location he came from. Don't waste your time on them.
