Indian base customer service sucks.
Have been with Amerigas for almost 20 years. The last few years, service has declined to unacceptable. The local office has people, but the door is locked and they won't answer. I have almost run out 2X, and am almost out now (4%). When you call, they blame it on the customer - "did you add new appliances?", "are there obstructions in the yard.....". The tank is in the same place since 2006. They keep kicking the deliveries down the road, then when you do get thru to the call center in India where you can barely understand t... read more
RUN, don't walk from this company! My experience has been absolutely horrible. There is no one in the local office to help if there is an issue. Long waits at times to get anyone. Unhelpful when you do. Price was ridiculously over what others were charging. Tanks that were on my property from them were not up do date. I switched companies on Nov. 1. I have monthly requested they remove these tanks. Still Sitting there. Note that they are supposed to refund for the 30% in the tanks, so consequently are holding my funds and I ... read more
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. I would not recommend this company anymore! They do not answer their own phones—all calls are forwarded to Kenya, Africa! The girl who answered could barely speak English. She couldn’t understand me, and I couldn’t understand her. Whatever AmeriGas pays them to answer their phones is a complete waste.
We pre- paid for 200 gallons of propane a month ago . After several phone calls we finally received a delivery - they only delivered 95 galllons of the 200 prepaid gallons - after several more phone calls we to get the rest of our prepaid propane we have been told we will not get it until we pay the difference in the market price. In the propane we already paid in advance for . We still Don’t have it all and AmeriGas still has my prepaid money for my propane.
