When started at Americold it was a good place to work. The supervisors could work with you to better improve the employees. Since new GM you can’t trust anybody above the supervisors. The supervisors trying so hard to keep the place going but still has GM coming in every day yelling at them that they are not doing it right instead of trying to improve them and showing them how to do it. They change their work days from 3 / 12 to 5 / 8 so people would not have to work overtime and can have more family time but then still requ... read more
RecommendedMy experience unloading was very painless and easy. I showed up about 6 hrs early and was told they'd call me closer to my appt. they called me to a door at my appt time then called me once they were done unloading the whole trailer ,about 30 min later, then I pulled out and re-parked in the staging area and finished my break. no one bothered me or said anything. very polite people to deal with.
it just a cold storage for food places
As a truck driver, I find them professional and as fast as can be asked. They got me in a door early (I showed up 1 hr early), and started loading within a few minutes.
Arrived checked in with guard at 918 for a 930 appt ..got to shipping office at 924..(only driver there) big sign says do not knock ..patiently stand there while being ignored 936 lady opens window says my appointments at 930 that I’m late and it’ll be a 100 dollar late fee place is a joke don’t waste your time coming here drive all night just to get ripped off..deserves 0 stars
very slow getting unloaded was in the dock over 4 hours
got here three hours early. got a door immediately. pretty smooth shipper. they have parking here also.
got a door right away been waiting 5 hours
