I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Nice updates. Rooms have a microwave and fridge, which is nice convenience. Pool and hot tub where enjoyable and the continental breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
Nice accommodations, friendly staff, very good hot breakfast. The morning I left there was bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. Make your own waffles, apples, nutrition bars, small carton of milks, orange juice, and yogurt.
This was a return trip for me. I spent a week each time I was there. I'm originally from Monroe and I love staying at the Americainn because it is centrally located in town. The breakfast is a big draw, the pool is refreshing and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The drawback on this trip is the coffee. The coffee is horrible. You switched brands like many other places have done recently; To a cheaper coffee that tastes horrible. I had to switch to hot chocolate. This is a lovely motel, with clean modern rooms and well kept pool. The breakfast offerings are varied with many options of hot and cold, including made to order omelets. Staff is friendly and responsive to special requests.
