Excellent service! The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the pool was the perfect temperature. The manager was professional and courteous and when making my reservation Andy was also very helpful. Highly recommend!

I checked in late in the evening for my stay using 30000 Wyndham points.A pleasant woman checked me in and asked for my credit card for any incidentals. Given there is no restaurant or bar or any other services I'm not sure what the incidentals could be but it's apparently policy. Room was cleanish (hairs in the shower). Joe B. Was the night desk person. I explained how I had celiac and asked about the breakfast. He was very nice and helpful. He took the time to read the ingredients off the labels for me and explained the foodoptions. Turns I could have breakfast after all. He also delivered towels to us. Thanks Joe.

The AmericInn in Park Rapids is in a good location, provides a varied breakfast, and the staff is pleasant. However, the compliments stop there. The pool and hot tub were broken, the bathroom fan did not work, the shower drain did not work properly, the light above the sink kept blinking, the room was damp and slightly smelly, the sheets were thread-bare, and the windows were dirty. The rollaway was like a hammock with a lumpy mattress. The entire hotel needs significant upgrading and improvements.
