"No local guests for the betterment of the hotel" is a bs and snobby excuse, what they really mean is they don't want homeless people potentially bringing down the "vibe". It shouldn't matter if they're paying customers. Definitely will not recommend this place to any of my out of state friends when they come to visit, purely on principle. Cancelling reservations over a "policy change" is bad customer service.
This hotel was wonderful! Everything was clean and in working order. The staff were all so nice. There were board games to play in the common area. There was a small bar by the elevator that could hold a few people. It looked like a good place to visit with your group or just talk to the bartender for a few minutes. The breakfast was good too. The whole hotel had a nice, comfortable feel.
Nice staff. Very friendly and helpful. Typical breakfast.
This Property is about 3 years old and still looks and smells brand new. Only 2 in the US are like this Property by Wyndham (the other one is in Texas) and the layout and amenities are equivalent to Fairfield by Marriott. Linda at Front Desk and Chris Night Auditor and Bar are standouts for hospitality. Yes, this Property has a bar w beer and wine and Sports on TV! Chris was my host at bar for both nights and he is great company, it's a nice amenity at this Property! Guest laundry and Fitness Center w free-weights here also.... read more
