First room we were assigned had trash on floor. We turned the heater on and something started burning. Smoke detectors went off. Had to call down to front desk for them to be alerted, when they came, they could smell the burnt smell (I had already turned off the heater) and I basically had to beg for a new room. Next room had stains on bedding. Tons of dead flies on window sill. Door to bathroom can't open all the way because of shower curtain rod. No towels when we went to pool. Pretty outdated. The toilet in first room we were shown was obviously used after it was cleaned. The second room looked fine. The discount was miniscule. Not at all the 10% that we got at every other Windham with the rewards program. The breakfast was sparsely refreshed. It seemed that they were putting out just enough for the people at the dining room. No milk, ketchup or decaf. They didn't even provide a pitcher of ice water. We paid more for this hotel than other Windhams and got less value for our dollar.

Our room was very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. So quiet and enjoyable. Our room was like new condition. It was so much more than expected. Great price too!

Was awoken by fire alarms at 6:20am due to staff starting a kitchen fire. Whole place smelled of smoke and staff were running around like they had no idea what to do in such situations. Room was average, breakfast was mediocre.
