The good, room was clean, modern & well maintained. The bad, management will challenge any discount rate, no matter how small the savings are. Even with a confirmed reservation email from Wyndham and check out receipt obtained by the property, I was extorted for additional charges, threatened and even followed by the GM next door into a restaurant across the street claiming my approximately $20 dollar discount was invalid and demanded additional money. Not outstanding but still solid for an AmericInn. Stayed one night on a Thursday and room was okay, but a bit worn around the small stuff (shower head, carpet, etc.). Breakfast was okay but coffee was watered down and eggs were coldish; waffles were strong, though. Not a bad option on this side of Madison, and certainly safe.
We stay at lots of Wyndham Budget friendly hotels and this one was the best by far. Clearly, a brand new hotel. They even had a fully functioning and huge hot tub plus indoor pool and sauna. We will stay here again for sure
