The Grand Rapids Minnesota location's complimentary breakfast is actually quite good compared to other AmericInns I have stayed at. I was pleasantly surprised. A good way to start the day.
After a 10 hour day of travel, we arrived at our hotel we reserved for the night. The front desk staff was very friendly and check in was swift. We asked him if he knew of a good steakhouse nearby, he mentioned right behind this hotel was a sister property that had a wonderful restaurant...we took his advice. We were pleasantly surprised to find prime rib was on the menu along with their signature popovers...absolutely delicious! It was very well maintained and our room was very clean and well updated. The pool was in nice shape and clean. The front desk person was extremely helpful and polite

This was such a great place. As soon as you walk in it was very welcoming. The gentleman at the feont desk was warm and kind. This was certainly a unique hotel stay that I recommend to any other in the area. They had fresh baked cookies for guests.. They provided a basket for hand towels at the door for motorcyclist to wipe down their seats. They had shelves of items for sale if anyone forgot anything , they can purchase right there.
