I would give this hotel ZERO stars if possible. Do Not Stay Here! The primary reason is ethics. Due to the unprofessional, dishonest, deceptive and disrespectful behaviors of General Manager, Nikesh Chaudhary at Americinn by Wyndham, Fort Dodge, IA. On July 21, 2025, at 18:20, I checked in having a three-night reservation. I advised GM Nikesh Chudhary that I would be checking out on Wednesday morning (a two night stay instead). The employees here are nice but almost every day I had to get my keyboard replaced because it stopped working. There was a 5 day period where my door's handle would not lock via key card and could simply be opened with the turn of the knob. Not very secure. They do have a sauna and pool but the sauna was down some of the time I was here.
Such a nice stay. Very clean well run hotel and reasonably priced. Very nice lady at front desk. Nice lobby and hotel was comfortable. Room extremely clean like no stains or hidden grime. It's near local eateries too.
Highly recommend! Everything was perfect! Clean , comfortable and friendly.
