This was a great affordable stay. Close to everything. Quiet clean
Our family prefers to stay at Americinns when on trips, they are reliably ok priced, comfortable, and clean. This wasn't the best, while the staff were helpful the room felt cramped, and the remodel was odd. The room we had felt like they just remodeled, you could see boxes of stuff for rooms they are working on outside and around the hotel areas. Clean rooms. Pet friendly. Ice machine is hit and miss because it needs to be manually filled.
Good spot. Friendly staff. They take dogs. A little pricey but not too bad. Close to Douglas and a short drive to downtown Saugatuck.
My family of seven went on a trip to Saugatuck. The hotel was able to give us adjoining rooms on the first floor! They had a beautiful pool for the kids to play and the hot tub was much larger than other hotels. The hotel is a 5 minute drive to Saugatuck, and 3 minutes to downtown Douglas. Oval beach is 10 minutes. There is a coffee shop (Woosah) around the corner that is amazing. There is a tiny grocery store/sandwich shop a min away that is so cute and the food was yummy (Isabelle).
