Called a few days before our arrival to request a roll away bed. Was told to request when we checked in. Imagine that, at check in they were all out. I slept on the floor. Keycard reader doesn't work at the door. Wifi doesn't work.
5-Star service all around. The staff at AmericInn was very accommodating and personable. Coming from 6ish hours away, we arrived well ahead of check-in time and they were able to get us into a room right away. The hotel location is excellent if you are looking for a base camp for snowmobiling. There is plenty of space to park your truck, trailer, and sleds and the hotel is right on the trail.
The hotel itself was great! Book directly through the hotel and not from a booking agency. The pool and hot tub were out of service and we were never notified. It wasn't the hotels fault but when we contact booking.com we got no response or discount. We booked specifically for the hot tub after snowmobiling for 5 days. The breakfast and service was outstanding. We will definitely stay again. Our stay was was over Christmas and everyone made us feel at home.
