This is a nice hotel in town. Almost unbeatable location if you're here to explore the Keweenaw. Very close to Houghton, but a bit north which gives you easier access to copper harbor and nearby attractions. You can also walk around Calumet straight from the hotel to explore the town's history and maybe stop for a bite to eat along the way. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Being in a small town, sometimes you expect the bare minimum in amenities and services, but it is not the case for this hotel! AmericInn is a very nice and clean hotel. They have a pool, a hot tub and a sauna. Their rooms are clean and spacious. They use dove toiletries and they have plenty of towels, a microwave, coffee maker, ice buckets and plenty of cups! And let me tell you about their continental breakfast…wow!
