Nice hotel and great food
It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but this experience was exceptionally poor. Will NEVER come here, or recommend this place again. I HAD to leave 1 star, because there was no option to leave ZERO stars. Rooms: fridge had nasty leftover food, as well as sticky yuck all over the shelves. Microwave was dirty. Bathrooms: dirty toilet, hair on the walls of the shower, mold on the ceiling. WiFi: decent. TV: Less than 40 channels of cable TV, on a “not SmartTV” - meaning no streaming service apps. Our family loved all the pools. One with a deep end of five feet, one that was 3 1/2 feet all the way, a nice little splash pad with a kiddy slide, and a nice hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was some confusion over our room but it was resolved satisfactorily. The breakfast was continental as advertised with clean dining and a great view towards Chequamegon Bay. We really appreciated the value of what we got for what we spent and would definitely stay again.
