The Cadillac dealer performed a multi point inspection on my SUV which resulted in need of an engine/motor mount. I have Car Shield for my extended warranty. The dealer does not accept Car Shield due to problems getting paid from Car Shield but provided me a quote for $897.00 for 4 hr labor. Hence, I took my SUV to ********* Service Station in Alpharetta, **. A** quoted me a price ******* for 8 hr labor. Hi *****, so correction - The quote I gave you was $780.93 per mount. This price was lower than the quote from the dealership. Also note that Americas Service Station quoted you 2 mounts(left and right engine mount). The dealer quoted you 1 mount for $897. So you can only compare the price on a per mount basis. Note that the part alone is $230, you can go to Cadillac and purchase the same parts for that price - so no **** up. Your warranty company only wanted to pay half the amount.
