Nice homes, well presented, but no one came to speak with us. We looked around ourselves.
UPDATE: We've been in our new house almost a year, and as you would expect, we've found a few issues during that time. However, both Steven & Tim in the AHP warranty department have been really great. Not only are they responsive and helpful, they actually take the time to follow up to make sure the fixes from their subcontractors happen in a timely manner and were done right. After my mom lost her home in a house fire, we had a very difficult experience with another contractor and weren’t sure if we could even afford to rebuild something small. Then we decided to try America’s Home Place in Statesville, and from our very first meeting with Jill, we knew we were in good hands. Let's update this review. A couple months ago the service people came that Tim Koob sent here to do some repairs. One of the replacement doors was the complete wrong door. But his service guys installed it anyway. Now it drag when you open it. The other door has a warped casing. It won't stay shut. In my opinion Tim is a horrible liar. Nothing they repaired is fixed at all. Now we can't get return phone calls. Very lack luster if you ask me.
My family is in the process of building with AHP in Statesville, and I'm so glad that we decided to go with AHP! We have mainly worked with Susan and Jill on the front end of this journey, though Elizabeth and Anita are also wonderful! Every time that we've visited their office, they've made us feel at home.
