The receptionist was extremely rude; the room smelled terrible—like cigarettes and mustiness—and the pool was closed. The woman told me that if I wanted the pool opened, I would have to pay extra. I had to leave and go to another hotel; it was truly terrible and very disappointing. To top it off, she refused to refund my reservation fee or the deposit, so I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. It was horrible; I wouldn't stay here even if it were free.

La peor experiencia que hemos tenido en un hotel. Mi esposo reservó este lugar para hospedarnos de viernes a domingo porque las fotos publicadas hacían parecer que era un hotel limpio, moderno y bien cuidado. Al llegar, sentimos que habíamos sido completamente engañados. Incluso una de las imágenes utilizadas en la publicidad corresponde a un Holiday Inn, lo que hizo que confiáramos aún más en la reserva. Front office to the motel and its management rude and very unprofessional.. the beds had urine stains all over them, under the bed looks like it has not been cleaned in years .. towels were filthy and stained and I was charged and accused of making them filthy when I went and addressed the issue.. I stayed here before but this time by far is the worst time I have had staying at a motel

Probably the only good thing about this motel is the close proximity you have to the beaches and Downtown Sarasota. And it was nice to have a 2 story Publix. But honestly, this motel has seen better days. I was just there June 12th-14th, and honestly, someone needs to come out and inspect this place because a place like this probably shouldn't be opened to the public. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room had a terrible odor from the moment we walked in, the TV didn’t work, and the bathroom was filthy and clearly not cleaned properly. To make matters worse, while trying to sleep, we could hear what sounded like rats or squirrels running around in the attic above the room.
