The rooms are absolutely filthy. Blood spots on my bed. Floor on our room was sticky and damp. Bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. Sticky surfaces and dirty furniture. No smoke detectors on ceiling and wires hanging out of the hole where it should be. We left feeling sick and dirty after our stay.
THESE GUYS WERE FANTASTIC ; ROOMS LOOK GOOD,, SMELL GOOD ; CLOSE TO STARBUCKS,, VERY ACCOMMODATING,, I SWITCHED ROOMS LIKE 3 TIMES FOR VARIOUS REASONS,, AND THEY NEVER TOLD ME 'NO' NOR GAVE ME ANY ISSUES. I WASN'T PLANNING ON STAYING AS LONG AS I HAVE,, I JUST LOVE THE SERVICE & QUALITY HERE.. CHOOSE THIS HOTEL,, AMERICA'S BEST VALUE INN OF PITTSBURGH,, KANSAS ~
Staff are very nice, but hotel is borderline uninhabitable. Stayed for one night before leaving due to hot water issues. WiFi doesn’t work, bugs flying around downstairs, stains on blankets/towels, etc. Don’t stay here unless you’re living on $200 a week and have no other options.
This was a great bargain hotel. There's no elevator. The carpets in the rooms were really dirty & stained. The hotel smelled clean & common areas were well maintained. The beds were super comfortable & had zip-on waterproof mattress pads, which I was very appreciative of (don't have to worry about critters). One recommendation I would have is to get rid of the carpet everywhere!
While traveling on business, and having been on the road for nearly 18 hours, I decided to look into motels in the area. I based my choice off of the reviews I read online. The exterior appearance was clean and well maintained, and was greeted by a clean and pleasant smelling lobby as I walked in. The desk clerk was very nice, and quick to help.
