Our Professional Theatre Touring Company stayed in this hotel in June of 2005 for 2 nights. To our surprise the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. If you are looking for a place to sleep and take a shower without any frills then this hotel will do the trick. Pool could use some attention, but was certainly usable(we did). Was also very quiet and staff was extremely friendly.
I recently stayed at this hotel. I was expecting the worst because I read these previous comments about the hotel, but to my surprise from the time I stepped in the door I felt welcomed. First off the desk clerk was so nice. She greeted me with a smile ( u dont get that everywhere). I might have wasted time up there when I could have been in my room, but she was so pleasant to talk with. When I did get to the room (25 minutes later) the only thing that I didnt have was an iron. IF YOU WANT DIRTY AND BUGS STAY HERE . THE ONLY REASON I STAYED THE 2 NIGHTS WASI KNEW MY APT WAS GOING TO BE READY NO COFFEE NO IRON FILTHY IRONING BOARD COVER NO CLOCK NEED I SAY MORE

I stayed there around 4 nights and it was really awful. I am not a demanding person I just like when it is clean. Anyways this was not the case. After the first night I found 2 DEAD ROACHES in my bathroom !!!! I told the manager to do something about it and it took them 2 days to take any action BUT when they cleaned the roaches up - they LEFT A CORPUS of one of them in the bathroom!!!!!!!! I liked that it was close to the interstate, but no noise. The bad part is that we arrived very late (about midnite) and when we got all of our belongings in the room we realized our toilet didnt work. The lights that were next to the bed didnt work. We also had 4 people in our room and only 2 towels. The pillows were horrible (almost nonexistant). The hotel is pretty old and needs a facelift.
