“Welcome to Hotel Hell: A Cautionary Tale from ‘America’s Best Value Inn – New London/Mystic’” If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway near Mystic, keep driving — preferably fast. Despite the name, this hotel is nowhere near Mystic and much closer to something out of a low-budget horror movie. Room was clean but definitely needs some work. Bathroom door closes but won't lock, front door only closes if you push hard on it. All outlets are loose so the lamp lights would flicker, and it was hard to charge some items. Wi-Fi was incredibly slow. Anytime we cooked it would set of the smoke detector, so we ended up going out to eat more than we wanted to. Plus our fridge was unusable. Nicht hier buchen! Es riecht, es ist klebrig, es ist einfach widerlich. Wir waren 2 Minuten in Zimmer. Klebriges Bett, lauter Ventilator, ein Geruch wie in einer Fritteuse. Wir sind zurück zum Auto & haben direkt ein tolles Airbnb bei William gefunden. Sieht aus wie ein Hotel für Randständige.
Very family oriented. The owner & his wife are just amazing people & they truly accommodated you with what ever you need! Never felt more at home.
