Shoutout to the new GM Carmen, and the District Manager for making things right. While I really like my glasses, the prescription wasn’t right which I learned was from a “fill in” practitioner. Mistakes happen, but collaborating and coming to a fair resolve for everyone, shows me that they aren’t just lip service people. They are truly committed to making things right. Thank you!
So I finally realize now that the prescription was too strong for my eyes. I called previous doctors to find out why the AB prescription made my near vision blurry. Yet without the glasses they prescribed, I see very clearly with my eyes. AB’s solution was to put me in progressives/bifocals. Which I’ve never needed to date! Even their doctor said I didn’t need them. Annoyed. I’m not working, wasted my money and I have to pay a whole new doctor to give me a proper and updated prescription. I had a great overall experience with my eye exam and ordering contacts. The process was smooth, and the staff member who assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable, and did their best to make sure everything was handled properly. My exam felt thorough, and I appreciated how clearly everything was explained to me. The only downside was the staffing.
