Excellent eye exam
As my last two eye doctor's offices have closed, America's Best more than filled the void. The exam, and choice of lenses are top notch. Eye doc on Sat is extremely professional and personable.
Been going to a great optometrist for over 20 years then noticing a decline where scripts were off etc. Probably time to retire. Wife tried to convince me to go to America's Best. Nope - old school - not going to what I viewed as a "mall doctor". Frustration with last script from my original doc lead me there. Met Dr. Vaughn who provided me with unequivocally a script that was dead on (no prior notes from the old doc etc.). Very poor and unprofessional customer service from their receptionist, Sophia! While attempting to schedule an appointment, she was inefficient, I'll educated and lacked business etiquette. As a clinician, I would never tolerate this for my patients, and I will not tolerate it for myself. America's Best, you just lost a long time loyal client.
I needed the PD on my prescription as it was not written down. (I read online that is a ploy that is used so that you will have to buy glasses from them.) I called and asked for the PD and was told this is their practice, also she couldn't find my file it was misfiled evidently and I would have to come in for a re- exam. AND I had asked for a contact lens fitting as well and that wasn't done at the time!!
