Still cannot see with prescription glasses, tried to get a retest and got the run around
I physically came into the office and scheduled an appointment well in advance. They cancelled it because it wasn't confirmed by there automated system! So I left work for an appt I had scheduled well in advance to be told it was cancelled. I love Dr. Townsend but wish he wasn't affiliated with such a rude and inconsiderate chain!
Terrible customer service. Our race seemed to play a part in how we were treated. I asked a few questions about pricing and opal then told me I could no longer buy glasses because I was “wasting her time” and had to pay for the eye exam separately because I wanted to know my options before moving ahead. Good customer service is needed when buying something that will be displayed on your body for an extended period of time. I wish I could give 0 stars will never go back.
I have been going to americas best since I was about years old and now in my 20’s and this by far was one of best experiences I have EVER had at america’s best. Dr. Townsend was absolutely amazing and I felt listened to. He talked over all options and even reviewed eye imaging in depth. The front staff were super nice and helpful when looking at frames and I didn’t feel rushed.
Front desk does not know how to communicate or have good customer service skills to adequately assist with any tye of information. Twice I have called and received incorrect or information that would've been greatly necessary. My contacts got mishandled and lost nobody even asked who they were and the lady did not even try to help search or ask if anyone had touched or seen them.
