You guys are just Awesome. I have been so pleased with my last 2 experiences with this location, super awesome office staff above and beyond customer service and y'all absolutely saved the day with the swift turnaround on my son's new glasses! Got the run around and even after asking if they did lenses in the store and they told me as long as i bought frames from their location i was told AFTER doing the exam that they did not and it would be 1-2 weeks. I was leaving the country and needed them within days and mentioned that the two times in two days I was there before. Ended up paying for the “free” exam with purchase, because I couldnt afford to buy the glasses while also buying glasses to use in the meantime/ risk not getting an exam in time from someone else.
For the volume of people they push through there they really could use 2 Optomitrists working. The guy I saw yesterday; Dr. A. Was ok. They always are training new people there. This is a very busy store. For the most part they are customer oriented. A smile and genuine hello go a long way when someone comes through the door. I didn't see that. Joshua was the only one besides the pre test girl that actually were friendly.
I hate to rate this place so low, especially since the receptionist, pre-exam personnel and contact instructor we so nice and helpful, but the eye doctor; Madelen who did my exam acted as though I was more of a bother than anything else. No smiles or welcoming comments, just sit down, answer the questions and get out was her attitude. As someone who works with the public on a daily basis, I understand how sometimes we don't always feel like smiling or being welcoming, but you still do, because it's your job. Madalen Arzuaga is a terrible eye doctor! She doesn't care for her patient's and needs to find another profession. She took a break and made us wait even longer before we were seen! I've been a customer for over 10 yrs and have never experienced such bad customer service. Needless to say, I will never come back to this location. Jennifer in the pre-test area was great and I feel for her having to deal with customer complaints!
Terrible customer service. My son glasses were back. I was informed that someone called and left me a message informing me. I double checked my messages and they did not call. If I had not called to follow up, then I they would still be there. I was told they are very busy. My other son went in for contacts. They performed the eye exam and did not order the contacts.
