I Would Give Negative Stars If Possible America's Best Contacts has America's Worst Customer Service. The workers were very rude and of no help whatsoever. I went there because I was considering switching to contacts, but instead I was belittled by all of the workers for even thinking about switching from glasses to contacts. Then they made me take a glaucoma test for a fee that I didn't want. Caring and Informative I'm very lazy when it comes to things like doctors and often put off eye exams until I absolutely need a renewal. If you become a club member here you get free eye exams for 3 years and discounts on your purchases...which will motivate me to keep up with my prescriptions. The optometrist took time to answer all my questions and was thoughtful enough to pose and answer questions I would be likely to have in the future. Great Place for yur Eyeware The major thing you notice about this America's Best is the family-like atmosphere. The people who work here remember you and call you by name. They genuinely care about you and your eyes. The prices are great and if you become an Eyecare Club Member, you can save a bundle on contacts and eyeglasses. I have been a member for over 10 years and have never been dissatified, nor would I go anywhere else.
Excellent I used to come here, then I got UPenn insurance through my wife, so now I get a free yearly exam and a pair of glasses Long story short: I never should have left America's Best. The glasses at UPenn were the wrong prescription one year and this year they broke. maybe i could get a free replacement, but I was so happy with America's best that I came back and paid $84 to get 2 pairs of glasses. Don't you believe it! While this vision care and eyeglass facility is top of the line for the optomotrist that is on staff and for the knowledgeable personnel, the advertising you might see on television, most definitely is misleading. The commercials would say 2 pair of eyeglasses for $99.00. But when you would make the appointment, arrive and have the exam and then fill the prescription for your specs, the bill would suddenly be over $200.00 for one pair of glasses alone! Bad prescription I had to go there three times. I had to go to another eye place to get the right prescription. Then it took a while to get my glasses fixed. Once the glasses where fixed I had to wait for terrible service. Did not check to make sure the glasses fit.
Long time customer I have been going to America's Best for over 10 years, and have always had the service contract so that I could go in any time I need to and not pay $50 or more per exam, like I would at other optical places. It *is* a great deal, and that is why I have renewed many times.
Can you believe it ? The doctor Sheets answered her cell phone while we were in the exam room. Wait times are over 30 minutes long on the Saturday that I was there in this duluth store.
