I went today with my 10 year old son who is hard to please. Marissa went wayyyyyy out of her way to help us. Our experience was great. We will be back!
My first time to have to get prescription glasses. It is expensive! I was disappointed to find out that the glasses on sale was just for the frames only and not the lenses to go with the frame. I had to settle for the contacts which is not what I really wanted and save up so I will be able to purchase myself a pair of glasses. Even though I have insurance, it is still expensive! I'm a teacher and one of my students broke his glasses. I took them to America's Best to see if they could fix them for me. Not only did Marissa fix them, she brought them out to my car for me because I didn't want to drag the kids out of the car. Awesome service!!!
The service was a bit hurried, but Dr. Nguyen was very nice and informative as well as the rest of the staff. I didn't want to purchase glasses from America's Best because it's cheaper to buy glasses online and I had a bit of difficulty getting the receptionist to fork over my prescription, which was slightly frustrating. Eventually Dr. Nguyen called me over and handed me my prescription and wished me a good day. Overall, it was a good first experience and I'll probably go back to get my exam in a few years.
They advertise two pairs of glasses for 69.95, what they don't tell you is that's ONLY for the frames.. The lenses are extra, and depending on the material used it can be extremely expensive. I wear no line bifocals, wound up spending over 500 dollars. But I don't have insurance.
Went there because I had an accident and needed glasses . Have the exam fitted frames went to pay they said it was going to be one 169 95 told him I couldn't afford it and I finally paid 9995 they didn't explain that it was going to take over a week to get the glasses that I need it soon as possible. Horrible bait and switch
