I have stayed at the Americana Inn many times and had no problems. I stay there 11/17/19 and this time things were different. I was asked for a 20.00 cash deposit, this was not the policy before and I found out why. When I checked out the next day the counter person said that he needed to check the room before I could get my 20.00 back. When he came back he accused me of stealing a towel and charged me 10.00.
