When I first ordered he seemed nice and helpful, but that was the last time. I placed an order that for 3 vents that needed to be replaced as I assumed they were all the same size. I only needed 2 but figured 2 broke pretty close together and it would be good to have an extra, since I have 6-7 vents throughout my main level. I then got an email that asked me to confirm the measurement so he could begin work. At that point it occurred to me to double check and make sure both openings were the same size. American Wood Vents sincerely apologizes for any misunderstandings, but we would like you to know how hard we worked to make it right. On 1/30/2018, Steve placed an order for three oak vents to fit into another manufacturer’s already installed framework in the floor, because the old vents had broken. AWV explained that the measurements for an old vent made by another manufacturer have to be extremely exact. To fit another manufacturer’s frame is one of the most difficult jobs we do.
