While my in-store experience was good to excellent, I have found that the cables which I had to purchase separately, (installed by your installation team) have been found to be too short to install a Samsung smart 3D disc and DVD player. (SKU#042104125). Now I have to make another trip to purchase and install a cord. I purchased KING size bedroom set from American in August of 2013. It took them a whole month to bring me the right slats for KING size bed. Finally, they brought the slats, however they were the flimsiest 3 piece slats on my KING size bed, that I was afraid to even sleep on them. Mind you, I am 8 months pregnant sleeping on those 3 flimsy slats... I purchased a Franklin Corporation power recliner for over $2000.00. After having it for 4 months the stitching came loose on multiple parts of the couch. The majority of the loose stitching is where I never sit! American's service department told me "Your couch is covered by a 1 year manufactures warranty but you have had the couch more than 3 months so there will be a $40.00 fee to have the service man come out". When I went to purchase a stereo they would try and sell you a lot of unnecessary products and wouldn't give honest or professional advice. It seemed like they were more about their sale then actually taking the time to understand the customer needs. Finally, in terms of returns I can't believe how difficult they make it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.
Worst experience I've ever had with car audio installation. It took 3+ weeks just to schedule an apt for an install on 1-in dash touchscreen head unit, and 1-mono amp for a sub. Called numorous times and the guy was very unapologetic and just full of excuses. Finally, the day of install comes, 6 hours later he finished my car and told me everything works perfect... BS!
