Insurance is only good if they pay out when you have a legitimate, documented claim. This company stonewalls. They are unresponsive. Does not reply to emails, voice messages, etc. States they are working on it but no contact or proof of same. (their response to my google review). Gives initial pymt then does not respond when additional documents sent. Claims non-receipt but blocks emails. Closes claims without communication. Very unhappy with this insurance company. We have 30,000 damage from hurricane Ian . Then when we made a claim after taking off depreciation (which we didnt know we had) and our deductable they sent us a big whopping check of $5,000.00 . Wow that really goes far. Do not use this insurance company. After paying many years to receive this is a real slap in the face.........
I have a policy with American Traditions. I wanted to upgrade my policy and started over 6 weeks before my policy was to lapse. I got an agent that kept postponing me. I kept asking him to take my money and upgrade the policy. He still kept postponing me. I finally got and letter stating future cancellation. After many years of making payments I had the missfortune of making a claim, soon enough I got my cancellation notice in the mail. My mother used to tell me; " Learn from the mistakes of others, you can't possibly make them all yourself" STAY AWAY! STAY HAPPY!

been with atic american traditions ins company for about 3+ yrs after they bought out a previous insurance company we had. very disappointed in this company. just received a nonrenewal notice from them because they claim we are in a hurricane exposure area. never made a claim in my life with them or other insurance companies. i have lived in miami now in north fl west of ocala fl and other areas in fl. first i get a text saying nonrenewal then a day later a letter. big b.s. with this company. beware do not get coverage wit... read more
They decided to limit their exposure in Florida and are non-renewing our policy after 18 years of gladly taking our payments, with no claims. This in the middle of Hurricane season. No company will insure us unless our roof is less than 7 years old. It was brand new and is still in excellent condition, but we will have to spend $13000 to get a new roof so we can have the luxury of having homeowner's insurance. What a *** company, ATIC is.
