EXORBITANT OVERCHARGE taking advantage of my stranded circumstances. On Friday 08 Dec 2023 at 5:45Pm the Adams St location sold me two tires: Summit 205/60R 16 92H ULTRAMAX for $127.99 apiece (before charges for balancing + taxes) for a total end cost of $340. These tires cost only $63.09 apiece on Amazon and $65 apiece at Walmart. Moreover, Discount Tires quoted me today that they would have provided me with the same tires for $205 total end cost after installation. So American Tire overcharged me $135.
