I called American Tire & Auto to purchase a single used tire. I have no issue with buying a used tire, but unfortunately, the tire I was sold ended up being bad. I didn’t discover this until I had already driven it all the way home — and I do not live in Anchorage. Because of this, I had to make another trip back to American Tire & Auto to exchange the tire for a different one. Be careful! We went in to have new tires put on our trailer, an oil change for the truck and the truck tires rotated. All went well and we left happy. Then, at our first stop, my husband noticed that the tires indeed had not been rotated. This seemed odd as he specifically asked if the TPMS sensors ended up back on the correct tires. The clerk checking us out asked the tech and the tech said yes. When we called to ask about it, the tech said he forgot to rotate the tires.
