Our American Standard water heater, installed in late 2022, went kaput in early 2026. Replacement parts were ordered. Despite confirming my shipping address and tracking number many times, the parts wound up about 2000 miles away. The AS customer service rep said it was going to the distribution center, which was not the case. Rather than order new parts- and have them show up who knows where - we got a water heater from a different company. Phooey on American Standard - stay far, far away!
Muy mala experiencia entregando una carga en este lugar llegué y me puse en el drive way de entrada para hacer check in ,aun no abrían llego un americano empleado del lugar y me puso una enjabonada pero buena le pedí disculpas 2 veces yo solo quería entregar carga fue primera vez ahí y última también si algún día llevan carga a ese lugar esperen en la calle hasta la hora de su cita para que no les pase lo que a mí. **** Do Not Buy an American Standard water heater **** I am a professional HVAC contractor. We installed an American Standard 50 gallon natural gas water heater for a customer. 6 months later it quit working because the burner was plugged up and sooted up. Local American Standard distributor did not have the parts in stock. Called American Standard and talked to their tech support to get the warranty parts approved. This is on Monday. Absolute BS company. The ignitor/burner assembly went out Dec 2nd. Told us 7 days for the part to arrive. They sent the wrong part. They refused to overnight the correct part, told us another 7 days. It's now been 2 weeks. No communication. We have been without hot water with children in the home ALL DECEMBER and is now going on 4 WEEKS. They dont even deserve the one star I'm being forced to leave. This water heater is less than 2 years old. From reading these reviews, all us customers should file a class action lawsuit.
