Awful service from this company. Tried to order replacement parts under warranty. Never in stock and no one has any idea when the part will be in. Same old line given to us, as to other customers. Management will get back to you and they never do. I would order the part myself from somewhere else and save the headache. But no one stocks their parts. Trying to get through to anyone is a joke. This company is a joke. I purchased their water heater trusting that I was getting a quality product. Four years later, it broke and was leaking from the inner glass-lined tank. Called them for a warranty claim. Sent them the pictures that they requested. They came back to me saying that they are denying the claim because of the absence of an expansion tank which is obviously an excuse to avoid warranty claims. As an installer this is the worst company I have dealt with when it comes to warranty replacement. Although the reps are polite and helpful, there is no follow through. Client waited 3 weeks for them to look for a replacement which they could not find. Said they would reimburse them for a new water heater, 6 weeks later still no reimbursement.
Horrible company and service. Impossible to get parts under warranty. Incompetent customer service department. Will not return calls. Classic run around. Avoid at all costs. Water heater is garbage. Hope this company goes out of business. Piss poor experience!
Do not use American standard water heater or trust their warranty. When your water heater goes out, they’ll keep sending replacement parts instead of replacing the water heater. We’ve been without hot water since March and it’s now May 16 and they sending failing parts. They are literally the worse company to deal with
