ASD service is awful
Company does not settle its dues with small vendors and claims to have financial crunch; wonder how they are able to service customers and pay for the panels they install
I had my panels installed in September. I have not received an electric bill over $1.25 since they have been installed. The service was wonderful, the panels work great, and my electric bills are down. Life is good.
Kickoff and install was all great but this year I saved an average of about $10 a month and if you factor in the Mosaic payment I'm actually in the red. I think solar is a scam but I rate the company great because they do what they do well just the after isn't all it's cracked up to be. Your better off just being more energy efficient appliances because it will take you forever to actually get any real savings.
American Solar is the worst company ever. I have a signed contract that says we can buy out the lease by December 1, 2016. The contract states that if we don't buy it out, the lease continues on for another 20 years. I have requested the buyout amount multiple times, and NO ONE at ASD will give it to me or tell me how to buy it out. AVOID ASD at all costs. When I first looked into solar panels, I thought it would be like most other home improvements and be a relatively easy deal. I select a company, buy some panels, they install them, and I turn it on and save money. Well that''s certainly the order of things, but the process itself was not so straightforward in my case.
