While the installation and product are good. If you need something after the shutters are installed, they won’t get back to you. We installed a new door which caused are shutters to not be able to be closed. I’ve left a voicemail, I’ve texted ( which was read back in Feb) but not even an acknowledgment of the message. Very frustrating.
OUTSTANDING installation and post-installation service of our Armor Screen roll down hurricane screen. We must have driven Tim nuts with all our service calls over the years but he always calls or shows up the next day, polite as can be, and addresses all our concerns. HIGHLY recommend this company.
American Shutter Works installed metal rolldown shutters for us 13 years ago. These shutters have saved us from every tropical storm and hurricane since! One push of the button and these things roll down with absolutely no effort! The owner is a standup guy who just got done tweaking a minor problem with absolutely NO CHARGE 13 years later! Ridiculous! Be careful using this company! They came to the house before Milton to fix the automatic shutters so we could have them down. One guy came and he started working and he said he had none of his tools and left. He stated the owner said they would honor the price due to this techs mistake. Post hurricane two guys came out to fix the problem. They got to work and started trying to get one of the shutters fixed. While doing this they got one shutter down. American Shutter Works did an excellent job on my house and my neighbor's next door. After a couple of years, we were preparing for a recent storm and realized that a couple of our locks weren't working. He came out about an hour after we called him and fixed the locks. Evidently we forgot that the locks were supposed to remain locked even when not in use or bugs could get inside. He had them all back up and operational in just a few minutes. Service after the installation. A great company!! You can't go wrong with them.
