GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. American Roofing Company installed a new roof (shingles and underlayment) over compromised plywood sheathing on my house when I purchased the home 2-years ago as I changed U.S. Army duty stations to Fort Knox, KY from Europe. The new roof was purchased under the previous owner as a condition of the sale and the warranty did not transfer, even though the home was purchased within days of the new roof going on. Aaron Thomas and David Glinski did a thorough drone inspection on our cedar shake roof and found no damage.
Not a fan of my experience with American Roofing. Part of my roof over a sun room had water damage. It was bad enough that some of the rafter were rotten and needed to be replace. Being a little OCD I went outside to check on their progress making the repairs and found them putting down new sheathing over the rotten rafters. I stopped them immediately and after talking to their project manager they had to ho back and remove the sheathing to cut out and replace the rotten rafters.
