CAN I TELL YOU HOW AMAZING THE STAFF AT EAST NORRITON DONOR CENTER WAS. THEY ALL ASSISTED ME AS NEEDED. I JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO TATIANNA, FAITH, YOLANDA AND ERIN. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CENTER TO EVERYONE
Easy and streamlined process from check-in to the end. I recommend completing the RapidPass beforehand as it’ll save you time here. The donation center is clean and open, and the employees are really friendly! Note that if you bring someone, they don’t be able to enter the donation area with you. Scheduling/rescheduling was really easy, the Red Cross website is clear to use. Snacks and drinks in the recovery area are nice too! Typical juices and water are also provided.
Went 1x and took me on time and all was good. 2nd time, I sat and nobody even acknowledged me. The boy at the front desk a was a mess...I mean mess. Sloppy dress, hair was uncombed & huge mess, mumbled as he spoke. Bad sign right there. All the nurses went in the back when it was my appt time, the floor was EMPTY and Im sitting in wait area so I left...unacceptable. If you have no regard for my time to donate then I dont need to donate.

Pretty lame head nurse. I literally was a few bpm above heart rate guidelines. Then it dropped again on the next reading and I told her to try one more and time and it should be good then. She decided to be difficult and not do it. Also would like to note that nowhere in their guidelines did it mention any thing about heart rate being a disqualifying factor, only blood pressure. So, pretty lame operation. Oh well, their loss and not mine. I don't need blood, but someone else does unfortunately 🤷♂️
